17x11's They fit?
Are you tucking them under the fender or lifting the car?
I am trying to figure out what wheels I want so please send me a picture. I would love to get some 11' wheels to fit.

Really, PM me a picture when they are on the car.
and what size tire?

Ok I'm not positive they'll fit at all. I've seen them a few times and took notes. They won't tuck but they fit under the fender lip. I think I'm gonna use a DSE mini tub kit next year to get the tuck I want. This with a narrower rear end and things should be groovy. I plan on building a custom rear anyhow, so why not build it to the width I want?

Tires are tricky. 315/35R17. But only Sumimoto's at thins point. Not many people make a 315/35, Goodyear makes an F1 but they're almost an inch wider then the other ones I mentioned. So here are some pics of a car that I was gonna buy the wheels and tires off, but he sold them before I got the cash to do so. Again its not my car.Name: fatass.jpg

I love the stance. Don't think I want to spend that on tires.
It really looks like the car in the picture will hit when turning through a dip. My tires travel a 4-5 inches.

I want my wheels to sit just about flush with the rear lip. I will shave the lip down when I add new quarters. May just lift the heck out of the rear. I like the old school rake.

trying to decide if I want 18 and 17, or 17 and 16's.

You have been a big help on the width. I want to run the Micky Thompson ET drag radials. Will have to see what sizes those come in then build the wheel to match.

Love your Camaro, cant wait to see it done.

OK I'm happy as all hell today. My car is home. I can go tinker anytime I want. You guys can't imagine the crap it took for me to get some time in on the car before. I needed a baby sitter and was on third last summer so timing was everything. All is right in my world today.

Now what did I do when I got it home? I slap my new wheels on of course. Now to save for some rubber. Here are some pics an yes Gfrench the 17x11 fit like a glove.

Here are a few or the clearance between the wheel and the leaf spring, the lips are about a 1/4" past the outer edge. So rolling them and the seat belt bump are in the way. I am considering a DSE mini tub kit though. I have know idea how I'm gonna pay for it though. 450 plus just for the tubs. Maybe next year. I wanna drive this year.

Ya, dims da rubber bands. Ultra low profile. That rear shot almost makes me want to do the stock rear wheel flairs.

The pics fit fine on my laptop, huh. I hate post like that. I'm not sure why the pics came out side by side. I just tried to edit it and the are stack one on top of the other in the reply window. Sorry.

I can't wait to get out there and do some work. I had my boys with me all day so I couldn't pay too much attention to the car. The kids kept wanting to ride the power wheels in the road. Glad my brother was here to help corral them.
