Thanks Damon! I'm debating between gold leaf with black border, or the ivory color I had previously with black border. I do like the warm ivory color, and with everyone using gold leaf I like to be a little different! (always!)

Oooooh nice! Is that a red-red, or a dark or burnt red? Pics with indoor lighting can't always be trusted.

Thanks Chuck! Chevy called this color "dark metallic red", but it's really more of a medium red. The painter said it has a metallic base that's both gold and silver metallic. When he wiped paint off the lid of the can the metallic had settled to the base and red on top, and he said he could see both sliver and gold flakes.
He was worried when he first opened the can as he said it looked very dark and "muddy", but he put a stick in it and walked outside to view it in the sun and it looked totally different there.
Flourescent lighting is not the best, so I'm anxious to see it in the daylight today when it come home this afternoon.

Thanks Jason!

Well it just got delivered home and while we were unloading the FedEx guy delivered my new M&H drag radials! What a great day!
No sunlight today, but took a couple quick pics in the sprinkles before moving it inside!

Doesn't look much different outside than it did in Aaron's booth. Lots of cleanup to do with all the sanding dust we both created during the last couple months!

Definitely looks a brighter red than it did in the inside pics, that's a pretty shade. I bet you're excited!

That was part of my reason for having it done at Southbound Customs. He gave me a price that was unbelievably reasonable, and I knew from his previous work he'd do well.
