I'm gonna let the air out of the tires on my buddy's Austin pickup tomorrow when I see him! How dare he slip in front of me!!!!!!!

OK, so I didn't have to deflate his tires, as the painter told me this morning he got the jambs and trunk lid shot yesterday. The rest gets shot Mon or Tue, and then it's ready to head home if all goes well!

thats awesome val cant wait to see it when shes done,i bet ur excited been along time coming,i know ur hard work is gonna pay off when u see how nice it looks cant wait,be sure to post some pictures i will be watching for them,pic mine up tuesday too.

Hey, we can have show and tell when we both get them home! Yeah, I'm getting pretty anxious to see what it looks like with shiny red paint! Can't wait to start reassembly!

cant waiT! saw a vauxhall that looked alot like ur austin today while looking at a chevelle.

Yes, the Vauxhalls of the same generation look like they came out of the Austin factory! They're so close I've often wondered if the same engineers designed them, or they had spys in the factory! Did you know that Vauxhall was owned by GM since 1925? Vauxhall is Opel, but uses the Vauxhall name in England, and Opel in other countries.

thats exactly like one i looked at. it was very rust free and complete but it needed a complete restoration.

Forget the restoration! They need to be built into hotrods! Any idea how much they're asking for it? I may know someone who's interested in building it!

it wasnt for sale. i was with my gramps looking at a 64 chevelle ss to do a little work on and flip it at the portland swap meet. he sold his 61 impala so now we have a empty car for sale space.
