I did the same thing with my reverse! But I wasn't p***ed off. I was showing off and it started clunking real bad and then it went poof. GONE! lol I ended up just buying a used tranny for $250 because having reverse fixed was going to cost $$350 at my local transmission shop.

mine is at the shop right now. If he comes back with $350 to fix it that will make me happy. Fixing a transmission is not exactly in the budget right now so a low price like that would make me smile.

this is a little bit late but it cost me a little north of $1000 for a used trans with under 100000 miles plus labor......moral of this story...dont be mean to a car with 200000+ miles on it.
