The GTO is good for a high 12 second 1/4th a mile.

Which just so happens to be what your SS is good for.

Stock that is, and yes, the SLP package comes on stock SS's.

So either you,

A. Beat the driver.
or
B. You have mods.

the question was, is the slp Long tube headers a part of the slp package? I thought the slp cars got an slp lid and minor suspension upgrades is all. if they come with LT's then that makes them the fastest factory fbodies in those years and we cant keeps saying that all ls1's are powered the same (z28 vs ss)

In regards to Hisss04Cobra both of the cars are automatic, so therefore really no driver error other the out of the hole.

Oh believe me, you can have driver error out of the hole with an auto, just not as much. Specter, none of the SS Camaros came with LT headers, they didn't even come with different exhaust manifolds from the regular Z28's. The SLP performance exhaust package was an availabe option and it consisted of a 3" cat back instead of the stock 2.5" so it flowed a bit better.
