Not for sure what the specs are on the stock Mustang

I would say it would go to driver skill.

No matter what vehicle you have it comes down to driver skills ........... I have seen alot of times a car that I thought would win would get beat by a smaller car but a better driver.

 

Well, that means it has 2 more hp and 1 less torque than the v6 camaro. I gotta believe the camaro is noticeably lighter. I think there is a VERY small edge to the camaro, not trying to be bias.

 

the weight is true, the new mustangs are pretty heavy.

 

i betting the stang will win those new v6 stangs run low 15s stock ur going to be lucky if u hit 15.8 stock with a 02 v6 camaro like mine 2000 camaro i have a tune flows and cai and my best is 15.5 be fore when it was stock i was runing 15.9

 

damn, nevermind might have to tune mine a bit. I said this because there is a guy that just got a 05' stang and he talks so much **** lol.
