Given it's sibling's name, and being a big block, the name "Rat Trap" comes to mind. Or you could work off the Rat Fink theme.

Yes, "Rat Trap" crossed my mind too, but didn't want to out it on before paint, as I was afraid some might think it applied to a ratty looking gasser! But after paint it might work.

Or you could use the initials of what you showed on the rear quarter, and call it an M.G......M/G.

Going to try and get my hood opening for the scoop finish welded today. The temps are down in the low to mid 80's today, so not so sweltering! I see some beginnings of surface rust starting on the bare metal, so need to finish the welding, and get some primer on it to halt the rust.
Our big Wed. night cruise/drags today, so I want to finish early and head out for that!

Got the hood opening welded up, and Duraglassed in. Picked up a 160 degree high flow T stat and put it in also. The engine runs pretty warm idling in hot weather, so hopefully the high flow stat will help it run a bit cooler. Tried adjusting timing, but it runs so well now, I don't want to retard it too far and make it run slower.

Well the cruise was fun, and the Falcon got a lot of interest too! Talked with a few guys that were actually contemplating similar Falcon gassers with SBC power. Car still ran very warm, and I need to address this, so I don't have to constantly watch the temp gauge. May need to add some aux. cooling to the system to get it down about 10 degrees. Tried water wetter, and it had no effect.

What type if fan are you using? My 33 pickup has both a mechanical and a electric. The electric is wired to a switch that I can flip on when in stoplight or just traffic

I'm using a 16" Spal electric puller. No room for a mechanical.

Came home from helping my buddy on his '69 Nova and found MSD had returned my repaired 6AL box! I got it and the Mallory distributor at the April swap meet for about $100, and was assured it all "worked great" when removed. Yeah, right.
MSD fixed it and shipped it back for $43, so still a decent buy with repairs. They also warranty it again after repairs, so I got basically a new box. All new wiring leads too!
We have our monthly hotrod breakfast tomorrow, so after I get home I'll reinstall it, and see how it runs.

Wife and I took the Falcon to our monthly hotrod breakfast. She had mixed feelings about her first ride in the Falcon, and said it is a bit of a beast to ride around in. Not crazy about the big motor and solid motor mounts, as she thinks feeling ever ypiston fire is odd.
But she was a trooper, and enjoyed it anyway. Guess I'll keep her for another 34 years! Any gal that goes to hotrod breakfast on her anniversary can't be all bad!
