I'm pretty old school, so no LS swap for the Falcon. I would consider an LS or LQ swap with 4L80E for the '69 Suburban though! That is if the old 350 ever gave up on me.

I just don't think an LS powered Falcon would have the same impact as a tunnel rammed BBC powered Falcon.

You got me on that one, but on the other hand you could always get a big block LS and run a tunnel ram lol. Just kidding

I think I'll stick with what I have!
Dropped the engine back in the chassis today. Set the intake on and bent up my fuel lines. Built a support for regulator, but still need to fab one for the long line from pump to regulator.

Had a minor screw up when I primed the oil system, and didn't realise the sending unit was loose. Pumped 2-3 qys. of Brad Penn oil on the floor before I saw it running out! What a mess! $20 down the drain too!

I have been pricing exhaust tubing, and pieces to build my exhaust system, and run it all the way out the back. The pieces seem to run pretty high, and many kits include mufflers, and I have the welded case Flowmasters I already purchased.
So I went to Jegs and Summit to look at complete exhaust systems that might be more affordable. I found a couple systems with 2.5" tubing that might be reworked slightly to fit. One was a Mustang system and I thought it might be a bit shorter than I wanted. The other was a Chevelle system, and I liked that the tailpipes went straight back, not turned down.
I decided to order the Chevelle system from Jegs, and with all the hangers, tubing, and bends I should be able to rework it to make a decent looking exhaust. I'll still need to buy a couple flanges in 2.5" to weld into the inside edge of my collectors, so the headers will be able to separate from the exhaust.
