There is really no need for dual exhaust except for looks. Two 2" exhaust pipes have a combined area of 6.28 squre inch, a single 3" pipe has a total area of 7.07 square inch. while a 4" pipe has an area of 12.56 square inches. A single 4" pipe will carry 4 time what a 2" pipe will.
