Default Dual Exhaust

I own a 1997 Camaro Z28. I want to put a new dual exhaust system on it, but there is not much room on the drivers side to on the exhaust pipe. Any Suggestions on how to that?

well what alot of the pro street cars do is the run the true duals down the same path as the stock exaust system.

for 1200 you could have got some nasty parts for your motor. besides, i think true duals only put the horsepower up by like 10-15...you could have gotten heads and a cam and boosted up by like 60-75

the problem with true duals is that if you dont have enough exhaust flow, you really dont need a huge dual exhaust system....if you had a big carb and intake setup, and heavily ported head and headers, then yes, you would need big exhaust,...but on a stock motor, especially for 1200 bucks...there is alot of stuff you can do first...

and for the record...in some states, pennsylvania for one, it is illegal to have true dual exhaust if it was not so equipped from the factory. in pennsylvania, it is just plain illegal...some states allow it, but you have to have the same amount of toxic emissions from both pipes, so you often have to install a new CAT and new O2 sensors..so forth...but yet, in quite a few states, true duals, not a dual outlet muffler, is illegal.
