Default Dual Exhaust?

hey everyone,
I have an 02' Camaro V6, and i am wondering if i can do a true dual exhaust?
i am not sure because i heard that some engines need a curtain amount of back pressure and this ruins it???
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

You can, but it will have to be all custom done. Don't even listen when someone mentions backpressure.

One of our other members, with a 3.4 though, wants to go with true duals.
Here's the thread....but make some popcorn first! https://camaroforums.com/forum/93-02...exhaust-68340/
And don't even get me started on the backpressure is needed thing.
If backpressure was so great, car manufacturers would be putting shut-off valves on the tail pipes!

You can bend and weld all the piping, but can't make a tailpipe? Making a custom dual exhaust on a car that wasn't made for a dual exhaust isn't all that easy.
