So, after some looking around on the internet I found a crate 350 from http://www.gmperformanceparts.com/ Saw, I could get a 350 crate 290 hp for only 2k.

So I am planning to go drive up to Washington to go pick it up hopfully this weekend. But before I go do this. I was wondering if you can rent a engine crane? cause if not I am gonna have to hold off on this purchase.

 

I bet an equipment supply place would have them. Perhaps even an auto zone would have one for rent.

I can rent one but I fail to see how that helps you. Your going to have to check with your local rental places. How many days do you think You will need it. You can buy a 2 ton from good old Harbor freight for like 180. Use it for 2 weeks and sell it for $120-140. If you are going to need it for 3 days or more this will be cheaper.

 

Yep, its going in my 92 it needs some power. I can't stand listening to the 305 knowing it pulling the same hp as a inline 4. But thats for the advice on the lift. I thought they where more like 500 dollars. But 200 will set me back a few weeks. might not get this done till after Boot Camp
