Over heating need some help

Hey, just got a 88 IROC-Z(350)... put in new thermostat n gasket, new heat sensor still over heating and spilling engine coolant everywhere... infact i had so much pressure my heater control valve broke... any ideas anyone?... reply soon please

If you have changed the coolant lately you need to maker sure there are no airpockets in the system, bleed it out. If you have one the car will overheat rather quickly and cause the coolant to boil over.

changed the collant and had no air pockets... still dunno what's wrong with it =/

IMO you car eithe has a blown head gasket or a plugged up radiator. A trip to a good radiator shop can test the coolant for combustion gases and check the status of your radiator.

turns out it was a broken O2 sensor... otherwise now my baby is running fine... =D
