My 89 camaro RS that i converted to carb has been over heating, changed radiator, radiator cap, water pump and tightned the wing under the radiator, and still get very hot. Whats going on?

is the gauge coming up to hot, and thats why you think its overheating? or is it boiling over? if it is just the gauge, buy a cheap aftermarket gauge and mount it anywhere under the hood. if it is boiling over, look into the thermostat

probably the electric fan, stock the 3rd gens run at like 220 and overheat alot. look into the Jet Performance low temp fan switch, it goes on the passengerside head and will keep your car in the 195 range
