One thing to remember about stereo systems is that going cheap will cost you more. Junk amps can blow your speakers out just as fast an an under-powered system. The distorted signal is sent to your speaker, I'll use the office receptionist analogy, and all she hears is... "Get the .... message.&^#%& out to (^#&$... and then don't forget to (*&(*&&$# the rest of (*)*#)!"
Well, not long after a dozen instructions like that, and she'll screw everything up... and get fired!

The biggest mistake I've seen, is people who buy a speaker rated at 300W peak (150W RMS) and run a 50W amp to it. The signal may be clean up to 50W, then it sends distorted signals from there up to it's max.
Buuzzzzz...pooof! The smell of burnt copper windings. Ahh, nothing like it.

It sounds like these 2 guys Seight311 and Hiss04Cobra know what to do. Just don't dismiss what I have said.

"I like to think of Jesus like with giant eagles wings, and singin' lead vocals for Lynyrd Skynyrd with like an angel band and I'm in the front row and I'm hammered drunk!"
