Speaker Blew!
I blew out my front right speaker today in my 2000 camaro.
does anyone know the procedure to fix this??? |
RE: Speaker Blew!
you just got to start unscrewing thing in the door panel then start pulling and prying, then get someHIGH quality stuff like "xplodes" or something....................

RE: Speaker Blew!
While your at it, take out the back seat speakers, and do what I did a few years back. Get two 8" JBL subs, and trace them on the sheet metal so you can cut the metal to a larger diameter. Then hook a a cheap 300 watt amp and viola! Instant custom bass! It actually worked really good for me, the whole wall of the car acted as a sealed box and they pounded for 8" subs!

RE: Speaker Blew!
This is a known problem w/some OEM speakers on Camaros/Firebirds w/Monsoon -- the new OEM speaker has a different coating to actually rate to the wattage -- check ebay -- the OEMs are sold new there.
