I recently replaced the stabilizer links, tierod ends, upper and lower control arm bushings and it helped the ride but its still too rough.

Id also like to change the rear brakes from drums to discs. to do this do i have to replace the whole rear end? (which i guess il find from a junked ss/z28) or can i convert to discs without swapping out the rear end?
It would most likely be alot easier on your budget and time to just pick up a z28 rear and call it a day. I plan on making the swap when I get more cha-ching in.

if your car is lowered and doesnt have the proper shocks to match the lower ride height, it will ride like crap. You need to find out what springs it has and what the drop in height was. SLP Bilsteins will be your best bet more than likely, real good quality shock for the price.

Finish the exhaust with headers, high flow cat and y pipe and put on a SLP intake. Thats the extent i would go to for power adders, any more than that just really isn't practical for the v6. FI applications are difficult on these cars, no real turbo kits for them and those that are available (STS) will cost you more than a Z28. Doing a S/C is also difficult thanks to the engine placement.

Can i just find the stock ride height and the difference from my current ride hight to get the spring height?
