Aluminum heater hose fittings - Anyone tried these?

I just stumbled across these on Rockauto. Seems like a good idea with how problem prone these are. Has anyone tried them?

My motorcycle uses those same type of fittings for the fuel valve. They work great. I dont see why they wouldnt work here either as long as the o-ring is good.
