Default Heater hose Mod

Somewhere there is info on this site there is info on upgrading the cheap plastic heater hose clips to metal one off a FWD. Does anyone remember that? I am looking for it to help another member but I also want to save this info as a future mod to my car. I have been digging thru old posts with no luck.

I hope you find it. I would like to see what it is. I am going to have to replace the hoses on my daughters car when we put the engine back in. One of them has a hole in it and the other feels paper thin.

OSduck5 found it.

Since it is a 90deg fitting it is not perfect but its a lot cheaper then the orginal factory setup.

The upper part GM # is 24504476 and the lower # is 12570305

It would sure be nice if they made them in straight. But thanks that is another option.
