what size cam should i put in my 3.8?? i dont know the sizes and i wana go bigger than mild what should i go to?

 

Ok let me stop you here and ask you what other mods you have done... It's not just as simple as throwing a cam in there and going. There's a lot of supporting mods you have to do.

First, a cam will be a waste without any supporting mods. You'll just be choking the motor on fuel. It will take a lot of time and money to achieve the proper way to build up your engine. Cam is the LAST thing I would do.

Second, anything over .520 lift, I would get 130# springs. That would require a double roller chain. Then you'd need new retainers and locks as well. You will also need a great tuner or know how to use HP Tuners... Which judging by your question, you got no idea about any of what I'm saying...


In short... What mods do you have currently... Please list them. Then I'm going to tell you everything you should do before you cam your car =)
