Default 93 3.4 Manual Trans question

My son and I replaced the clutch on our 93 Camaro, 5-speed, 3.4L. After we reinstalled everything and thought we were good, we found a disconnected 1/8-1/4 line that comes out the top of the tranny about 8" in front of the shifter and runs along the top of the tranny and appears to go up behind the engine a couple inches. We cannot find where it goes or what it is for. Anyone know?

Do you mean the vent tube? They don't go anywhere. Check out the manual section and get the GM manual for the 93.

Also
Go to google images and search T5 vent tube.

Looked it up, that is exactly what it is, didn't realize the tranny had a vent. Thanks for the help.
