yes I relize that only a few upgrades would have been needed to make the engine run on 110 race fuel ,refuring to the power of the engine ,a lot of guys use those engines as they have the best bang for buck couse they only race them a couple of races or more if there lucky an rebuild them ,they ran a drive belt to for quicker change at the track ,mine of cource made for the street pretty much the same internal parts other then a few ,don't hold me to wich ones ,yes torque monster but with bore 0.60 over they are known for longjevityAn they are or di add the 700r4 tail shaft to the 350 turbo so there will be no computer in the car anymore ,the tranny shop says there is conversion kit for the speedo we can worry about later, anything we are missing let me know thanks guys

Yeah, make sure you use a low profile intake manifold, and you'll be able to keep your windshield wipers. An intake like an Edelbrock air gap will make the carb sit too high and you will have to cut out the cowl area below the windshield, as well as removing the wiper mechanism to give the carb clearance.

yup an they make a low profile air cleaner about half inch to spare that's pretty much the same motor what kinda hp you making in that 69 gore it nice ,as I can see putting a blower would be chakeging but that exactly wear the mech said the air cleaner would sit looks like 6inch ,hope my 10 works ,if not there cheap though I think fing a good k&n would be best for a cleaner carb I would imagine need cleaning more often,oh craby I new my mech was young but not totally wrong ,
