Default Weird movement and noises in my 2000 ss...wtf is it!!!

Just had this happen to me. A loud bang and a jerk (sometimes violent jerk) when im revving up on low rpms and making turns sometimes. I have no idea wat it might be so if anyone might have an idea before i go to the shop and get it looked at, that would help alot.

please take a breath and be clear with your description

it says 2000 ss

is it an auto tranny or manual?

please be clear about what the "bang" is. You say when "revving"

ok, does that mean when in neutral and you rev the motor?????????????

Well its a manual and its like a very loud pop coming from the rear side of the car...sometimes 2 or 3 pops at a time...and it only happens when it is on first and second sometimes third....also while turning you feel it alot...and all of this comes with a very hard jerking motion in all gears from time to time

Mine car was doing this too when i popped the clutch. It was like "Pop Pop Pop"... Torque from my wheels was lifting up my tranny and it was whacking the bottom of the car. It ended up being a bad tranny mount. Watch your shifter when this happens. Does it move? Put the car in first and accelerate hard. Watch the shifter to see if it rises. If so, then your answer is a bad tranny mount.

Transmission mount? For a 2000 SS Camaro? Hmmm I'm not sure. I'll be back in a second with an answer lol

A transmission mount at Oreilly's is $75. It will cost $20-$50 to have it installed. Pretty cheap fix IF that's the problem.
