I don't think I'm going to make the track now, I'm about ready to shoot this thing. Tune is driving me up the wall, I cannot get it to keep from pouring gas in up top. It struggles to get past 90mph, and to think I went 14.1 like this. Something is wrong, just gotta find it.
Let me get back to ya on the splash guards, I need to go and see what materials I can use. You prefer stainless over the aluminum? Sorry, thought I posted them here, guess I didn't. I'm kinda phased out on this forum, this is the only thread I really post in.

i figured the stainless would last better, should be easier to work with. mine is doing the same thing. the ecu is not working right on mine, at least thats what im thinking. im getting a prom error code and one side is way rich and shows normal. other side shows lean and is rich. got some things to do before i run it again. so have u tested the evap system, mine was toast both the purge soloniod and pressure contol valve were bad. my fuel pump is doin weird stuff to. wont pump over 40 lbs so im changing the pump. what kind of fuel pressure regulator u using? anyways im in the same boat so dont feel alone, im to the point i only work on it when im in a good mood. lol.

Finally got my intake working right, stock box, K&N filter, lt1 elbow, spectre hose (soon to be a silicone coupler). Works great, and it's not as loud as a pipe style intake. Cheap too, cost about the same as the egay intake I used to have, but works much better. After some simple tuning, throttle response is improved, and it was running a little lean, which mean more air. Not bad
Also scheduled for a dyno tune on the 23rd at Wongs Performance Engineering, gonna squeeze some power out of it for once. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Heck yeah. This will be the first time it'll be on the dyno, and the NA build (engine wise) is done. Next part on the list is a PA racking k-member, then VFN cowl hood (pin-on, really light). She's gonna be fast, look out
My intake now, pardon the dirty bay and stickers, need to do some aesthetic work under there now.
