Like I said, some cops are ball busters and some are not. The local kids I deal with know that Im not going to bother them as long as there not doing something stupid. I cant let them get away with too much because I have a job to do and cant risk losing it but I dont care if they have tint or headlight covers. And yes some cops will make you fix the problem on the side of the road if possible but I wouldnt for safety reasons. When I was younger a cop pulled a buddy over and made us rip the tint off the front windows right there. It was ugly. The blackouts on headlights do cut down on visibilty both for the driver and oncoming vehicles. Tail lights I dont have a problem with. Those can be seen pretty well except when its daytime and really bright out.
