I've been having issues with my racetronix fuel pump that I installed with my swap. What happens is that I turn the key and the pump doesn't prime. I originally thought it was the relay, so I replaced that and it sort of fixed the issue, but when I took it for the first test drive the pump cut out and left me stranded. I believe this has something to do with the new BCM I put in (because mine was going bad). Note the cars VATS is bypassed with a resistor, so could it be a VATS issue.Does anyone have an idea of what my problem is? I have a bunch of voltage readings if someone could use them to identify the problem.

 

Make sure the connection on your vats bypass resistor is good. Does the security light come on when it acts up?

 

The security light and air bag light recently came on. I think the security light came on after I changed the bcm but i am not 100% sure. I dont think VATS is in the bcm though.

 

Well I think I fixed it, i had a bad connection between the body harness and the pump.
