Camaro shuts off at around 210 degrees
But there is a weird noise coming from the fuel pump when the care shut off. The fuel pump makes a low subtle sound but when i feel the car shutting off, it starts making irregular sounds and then the car shuts off. Once it shuts off, it doesn't turn on at all until the temperature goes down.
I will try to check the wiring as well, it could be a wiring problem.
But for now, the car hasn't shut off yet. Its done it about three times already.
1. Something is draining the power from the fuel pump
OR
2. the fuel pump is overheating and shutting down.
Circle fuel pump in your mind, that seems to be the cause of this whole schpliel to me. I could be way off base but it wouldn't hurt to look into it. Find out exactly what is going on when this all happens.. does the driver fan kick on then immediately after the car dies.. or does it kick on, then the big fan kicks on, causing the car to immediately die?
Also the driver side fan, did you install it or did it come with it from the factory already installed? That could be whats drawing all the power, causing the big fan to barely kick on and killing the fuel pump at the same time.
I believe the driver side fan is from factory. And i think its probably the fuel pump overheating, my dad told me the same thing. That could be a possible reason. As for the battery not taking it that might not be a possibility as i got the cars electrical system checked and everything was good. And there is no check engine light that turns on and when it does, the codes that come out are: Knock sensor signal1&2 short/low; catalyst efficiency low bank 1. I did get a suggestion of bad wiring, or bad computer. Maybe thats something thats causing it but i don't think so, i could be wrong though.

Its drawing more power then it should to power the fan, which in-turn takes the power away from the fuel pump, causing that to work even harder which makes it overheat and shut down.
Its newtons law, for every action there is a equal and opposite reaction.
The action is the fan being told to kick on, but with more power then normal.
The reaction to that is the extra amount of power is being taken from the fuel pump.
If the fan does NOT kick on, the fuel pump will be fine, but the motor will overheat.
Funny how things work out. Damned if you do and damned if you don't at this point..
Question now is.. do more research on the subject or change the computer/fuel pump and see what happens?
