I've always liked the newer Firebird door panels more than the Camaro door panels. So my question is will they fit? Will they clear the sides of the dash?

This is what I want to put in the Camaro:

considering i have a firebird door on my camaro ill have to say u could fit them no problem

 

can i replace thae whole door just plug and play ?
i mean direct replace the whole door?
ya right the Firebird is more good looking than camaro at least it has place for twitter:-)
the firebird mirror might not be suitable for CAMARO.

 

well my 94 camaro i just bought the guy said he directly replaced the door from a firebird to the camaro and i believe him because it has the vin from the other car on the door still all her did was put the camaro interior panel on it to match the car outside u cant tell the difference

 

btw its the drivers door on my car just look in my pics

 

I've seen it done on LS1tech. Head over there Chaotic and try searching around; almost everything you could think of has probably been thought of or attempted on that site lol

 

no luck with the pic, but the guy who did the swap said he had to bend the rod connecting the handle to the lock inward a little and the holes for the plastic locks didn't line up so he had to drill new ones. still pretty simple
