ok, camaro is completely fixed. had the wiring redone near the plugs behind back left seat

 

man you were so close to getting it yourself. cool you got wheels without issues. lol, except fuel level.

 

i know right! but wait crabby there's more! lol

The camaro died while driving, due to injectors not firing, but the fuel pump is priming everytime now and all that so that is fixed

 

I'm going to check on all the wires icm-pcm, a ton of useful info on this issue

 

I come to this thread with great news..
I swapped the opti and on the first try didnt line it up properly. It's very easy to miss align the one that is correct to the dowel pin on the cam. I lined it up right and it fired up.

when it wasnt lined up i was getting no start.. I checked if i was getting spark at the coil and it was ticking like it should. but when i cranked it it just wouldnt run, and after the key was out of the start position it would kick a couple times before it shut off.

 

Ok, it runs nice, but at low rpm it rumbles a bit, brought it to a good mechanic to see if he could help me see if it wasnt on all cylinders, and he thinks it isnt either.. Idk how to check which one isnt. but there is no code, so i suspect its a plug wire not all the way on or something.

 

what plugs are you using? did you drop one when installing? hate to say this but probly better have a look at the plugs. the one not firing will be nice and clean.

 

denso copper.. good price and i plan on swapping over to iridium in a little when i change my exhaust mani gaskets
