92 RS wont start HELP!!
well basically i bought a 92 RS off of guy that my uncle works with.
Had it for a few days and one nite i come out of taco bell and it wont start?
It sounds like its cranking but that its just not getting any of the gas.
Took it to the guys house and left it over night so his mechanic could check it out for
us. Well the next day he said he didnt think it was the fuel pump but that it was the injectors.
So i bought new injectors and replaced em and it still didnt work. Now it starts for a couple seconds and
just dies soon after.... Does anybody know what it is or have any of you experienced this?

RE: 92 RS wont start HELP!!
i have had similar problems, and it ended up just being the fuel pump. but as you've already said thats been ruled out. fuel lines maybe? And was it towed? when my baby was towed it some how worked for 3 more days more than likely due to the way that they bumped it around en route to the repair shop. well good luck sorry i could'nt help!

RE: 92 RS wont start HELP!!
Can you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key on (not start)? I still wouldn't rule it out. The mechanic thought the problem was the injectors, but it wasn't, so I wouldn't exactly bet my life on what he has to say. Has the fuel filter ever been changed?
