Default Another z28 wont start issue.

Ok, so i've read alot of them so far and i just thought i might add my story.
my 1995 a4 z28 would take awhile to start when i first got it. Then soon it wouldnt start at all, So i swapped in a 255lph pump. I thought that worked lol, but it didn't.

When i turn the ignition ON the fuel pressure jumps to 41 then once it goes through its checks it drops slightly to 39 or so.. not a big drop, and it will hold that pressure even i turn the car off..

It looks to me like its getting fuel, but not shooting it into cylinders.
I checked the ohms at the injectors and they are around 13.
Idk how to check injector pulse, if someone could tell me how to, i could try that.

I'd just like some input on what this problems sounds like to camaroforums, Thank you

use a noid light like i said. you could take the injector rack lose and pull it up so you can see if they are firing fuel. also did you see this. https://camaroforums.com/forum/lt1-l...37/#post579761

ok craby my dude, i put the noid like on all 8 plugs, all 8 started flashing after about 15-45 seconds. took awhile to start flashing so i was scared. should i be? the car cranked up and ran while i did the test. also pulled the fuel pump relay and it died, i forgot what that meant. have to look at your sticky thread. I'm going out now. Have a good night

should be flashing from the get go. i wonder if the opti is not sending signals to the ecm at first. have a look at the wiring harness to the opti, common fail, clean both plugs with electrical cleaner and see if that does anything. may as well clean the injector plugs. the link has a test for the harness. anyways put some electrical grease on all connectors you take off. helps to seal them and delay corrosion.

All that means is the engine died because the fuel pump lost power due to the relay getting pulled.

You'll also get the same result if you pull the coil wire! lol
