97 Electric issue
Hi there, and i hope this is in the right section.
I have a 97 V6 Camaro. I noticed it has an electric issue. My radio will flash on and off. SOmetimes it will shut off, then when i start driving it will turn on again. I then noticed that when it shuts off, i can not control my windows or mirrors. Its irregular and does it whenever.
I googled the issue and found that others have had the exact same issue, but there was no solution.
Example - http://answers.yahoo.com/question/in...7152756AA5nW2C
I checked for frayed wires in the door jam, but those wires were all good.
Anyone?
Thank you.

OK. Sorry for the newb questions, but its all figured out now.
Seeing this is a common problem for the 97, I will give the details.
The BCM its self wasn't the issue, but it was one of the plug harnesses going into it. There are 3 plugs on the BCM, a blue, black and tiel. The black harness is what has all the power supply for the BCM. The red wire on that plug gets lose and you need to adjust the pin in the plug. Once you do that, it will not cause any more issues.
FYI, the BCM is located behind the glove box under the kick panel. Very easy to get to, but not easy to work with.
