check in front of the rad maybe its blocked with leaves and the such,my 83 kept overheating then i checked and that was my problem,just throwing it out there

i finally got it figured out, the debris in front of the radiator was a part of it, but the water pump was also not working up to it's requirment thanks for all who helped on this one
