Need help 92 camaro rs 25th 3.1L

test the key and see if ohms match the ohms coming out of the resitor

When I have the resistor plugged in I can’t get a solid read it either jumpy of 0 ohms I can get a solid ohm read when they arnt connected

wire may be shorting to ground. i would be tempted to install the original key cylinder or a new one. have you tried unhooking amp again

Yeah amp is unhooked but mph rpm and batty voltage isn’t working

woh,,, not sure what the vats effects on the 92. check the ignition fuse, i would test the ignition switch for piece of mind.

Yeah she’s being a major pain in *** though but I can get car to start. Gauges still arnt working and I’m gonna attempt to reinstall original ignition. I think it was the stereo system that I installed that’s messing up the wiring part of this problem. How ever my map sensor blots broke now lol. The car was my grandmothers she bought it in 92 off lot and I got it now. It sat for about 4 years and parts are old ya know but this car is worth every penny and time to me 😁

Attempting to reinstall original ignition after work but the two white wires are broke off under the plastic on steering column I think I’m gonna try and find them under dash and rewrite all the way up to ignition. This is gonna be a pain🤦*♂️
