sup all, i am a new guy here. and i am tryin to figure out a few things. i am actually asking questions for a friend that just picked up an 89 iroc 5.7. he would ask himself but is not familiar with message boards.and i have tried to tell him that you can find out just about anything you want to know about your car on the right message boards. so i guess my first question is what is the stock size injector for the 5.7? about what do theycost? and where is a decent place to buy these from (price wise)? thanks in advanced for the help.

 

22# is the stock size for a 350 TPI. Cost wise they vary, from about $100 each and down. But beware the cheaper ones are NOT the best value. I would try get the present injectors cleaned and flow tested. You can do a search for place that dose this work.

 

thanks for the info. he said he called advanced and they told him 40-45 lb injectors and i thought damn thats a big injector for a stock car. but i dont know that much about the camaro being that i am a mustang guy, lol i hope that doesnt end my help from you all, lol. really i just love v8s and rear wheel drive, and overly loud obnoxious exhaust.thanks again
