ok, so on monday im going to be looking at a 87 Camaro V6. I talked to the guy (a budy of mine) and he said that it starts up good, idles good, runs nice, but then all of a sudden outta the blue it just dies on ya, bout 5-10mins. you got any ideas on whats happening?

if its carbed after 5-10 minutes itll go off of high idle and then thatll be the low idle and if it is set too low then the car will die other than that i have no idea

 

no, it doesnt have a car, its multi port fuel injection

 

any ideas? i really want this $500 camaro, but not really into a motor swap right now.

 

fuel filter could be clogged, which would cause impurities to get into the engine
