OK small update. Yard is good. Cleaned up the garage after working on three other cars back to back. I had a nice mess going out there. Then there was the two feet of leaves inside the garage door. Just when I was ready to start on the car. The wifes blower motor went out. Not fun with two little boys and the weather getting cold. As easy as it was to get as it was, that thing was next to impossible to work on.

I did start sanding on the car finally after warming the place up. I am a perfectionist and the firewall is still not perfect. It has a 1/4"x 1" bubble where I welded the panel in. After much thought and looking around at other cars on the net. I'm cutting it out and starting over with one big panel instead of two smaller ones. Mine will be similar to DSE's except I am taking the wrinkles out that are at the top of the trans tunnel. Camera is still dead so no pics until I get the wife on for Christmas. Shh... don't tell her.

Glad to see you back at it again! It's therapeutic, and helps get your mind off everything else!

We I made a template for the new firewall. I couldn't get the the steel supply store Friday so I won't get another shot until next Friday. I have finals this week, woohoo... NOT! All I want for Christmas is two days alone in my garage.

Sure. Not much going on right now. I need to finish scraping the undercoating out of the inside. The previous owner was genius. Then some minor body work. Thats about all I can do with the materials I have on hand. Like I said, when income taxes come around there will be plenty to do.

This year will be Magnaflow exhaust. Tires for my new wheels. Finish the brakes and maybe a new hood. I'm trying to get stuff that will get me on the road. I want to be able to at least get back and forth to work on nice days which is literally 2 min. away.

Just a small cowl. I want my stock Z hood but after stretching tape across the fenders my engine sits way too high.

Alright real progress tonight. Finally got all that nasty undercoating off or is it inner coating if its in the car? I also pulled the rear window out. Which is the first time in my life I have ever done it with breaking the glass. Apparently I wasn't bleeding on it enough the first few times I tried. I slipped and shaved my thumb knuckle something fierce. Ok now for the pics, I got my camera working too!

I feel for you guys doing rust repair. The toe pans couldn't be any better could they?

It was some work to get that crap off. I filled this box three times. I bet I saved ten pounds. LOL

I was on a roll so I started on my new welding cart. My current one is way too big, I need to down size a bit. Name: 023-8.jpg

On the way out of the garage I forgot to turn the drop light off in the car. This was all I saw so I snapped a pic. Kind of cool I guess.
