There is no point in trying to get a short tire to hook. 15's fit over my brakes and a the tires will be a true wrinkle wall design, not a compromise.
I understand you where you mention the DSE minitub kit where it re-locates the spring perches and notch the frame rail. I did not want to notch the frame rails and relocate the front spring perches. I am trying to keep the body as stock as possible and avoid cutting and welding.

Instead I went for ridetech where they use the same front perches but the lower bar is welded on the inside to gain about 1" tyre clearance than the standard leave spring. As well the coil overs are mounted inside of the frame rails and not like the stock shocks.

Just a quick one - how much tyre clearance shall I leave between the Inner rear fender and the rubber? 1/2" is enough or I need to leave more space? Any idea?

I really cant answer that. If it were a drag car I wouldnt care how much there was because they will just pull away as the car accelerates. Depending how stiff your tire is and how you plan on using the car come into play. Your "hard driving" could be my warm up lap.

In fact my hard driving will be your warm up lap I am going for Michelin Pilot Sport so they are pretty much hard on side wall.

I will order a 295 tyre and install it to see how it sits inside the wheel well. I will post pics when I have them.

I am hard on cars. Its my nature to find their or my limit. With my new trans I'll either run out of ***** or road before I find the top end.
