I'm very pleased. The brownish stuff you see in the pics is a film from the undercoating. This is the nicest floor I have ever owned. Nicer than my 87 from Texas. LOL I found out it was from Texas when I had the seats out, I found ticket stubs to the Astro Dome. And it was the only third gen I've seen without rear defrost.

I'd definitely epoxy prime over the POR15 before paint!

Today was some more work on the floors. I took a couple vacation days so I could go cut the 78 up, she's gotta go the township is gonna fine my dad. I also cleaned the rear window channel.

I though I smell plastic melting but thought it was the paint and undercoating. Nope this sucker is toast. I'll pick up a new pad tomorrow.

Here it is. My rust hole. Man am I glad I stripped off all the previous owners work. This would have not be seen otherwise. Crappy thing is now I have to touch up the bottom side paint.

Might want to shut off the lights, put a drrop light under the car, and then get inside to check one more time for any signs of light coming in. Amazing what we can miss when it's right there all the time. I found a few openings (not rust) that I thought I had sealed up by doing the light routine on the gasser.

You don't have to deal with the wind off the lake. I'm too close for comfort. It's like living on the Pacific, just colder!

We got about a half inch last night. I'll start the day out sweeping it out of the way before I tromp from the garage to the house and make a mess.
