My car is set up now with a 10 bolt 4.10 posi, the block is already studded, and has a scat crank and rods, with flat tops and a lunati 60104 cam, vortec heads that are cut for bigger springs, screw in studs and 1.6 ratio roller rockers. I got the short block assembled, I put the timing chain, cover, damper and heads. With the 1.6 ratio rockers I needed him to help me figure out the pushrod length. I ended up working on about four of his computers, and asked him if he would just finish it for me. All it needed was pushrods, intake and carb put on, and he was going to put a shift kit in my th350 trans. I would buy parts if needed, but had everything but the pushrods. Well, he told me that he was going to tear it down and just check all the clearances and everything. He also ports heads and has a flow bench, I may see about that, he can apparently get vortecs into the 350cfm range.

Now after pulled motor & trans, ripped the front off, down to just upper/ lower control arms springs. That will be coming of too as im trying to decide what paint to use, I’m think about the EASTWOOD 2K ceramic gloss black and hit it with a couple coats of clear. Looking if anybody has good luck with it.

He said that there are probably 10 sets of Vortecs in the country that flow that well, and 6 of them came from him. I've seen a boatload of his work over the past few months, and he is unreal. He cut the top off of an LT1 intake and ported and polished inside of one of those too. I'm working on a website for him so he can start doing work through the mail too.

Those are big numbers for any head. The ls7 heads are just a tick under 400 cfm and those are almost a full race head from the factory. I would like a link as soon as you got that up for him.

We went 9.97@ 135 with main bolts. I don't stud anything. No real need under 1000hp, but thats just my opinion. I had a stud kit but the extra cost to align hone just wasn't in the budget.

yeah with a 350 or 383 the studs really arent neccessary just an added expense, but with a 400 block its a must to have splayed billet caps and studs if ur pushing anything over 500 hp,as the 400 block flexes more and is a little weeker.

The fenders, mirrors, trunk lid, spoiler and valance are going off the get body work done on them. Next up is the doors. After that they will get painted, and then the car is going up to get done and finally assembly! The engine is still at the Engine Builders, he is swamped right now with racing season upon us. Voodoo Race Engineering is who has it, this guy is good. And I also put together his website and forum, so check that out too, it's my other project right now.

Thanks, it is a work in progress. I'd like to make some changes, but he is happy with it so I'll just wait a while.

So far the hood, fenders, trunk, valance, mirrors and spoiler are out for bodywork and paint. I'll get pics as they start coming back to me.

Bodywork is going on, slowly but surely this will get there. Most of the small stuff is already done and in primer, I've got some pictures of the hood and a fender.

The drivers side fender was toast, but I'll be getting another one hopefully on Monday morning with yet another parts car. My wife is going to kill me. lol.
