For strictly horsepower yes but a dual plane manifold makes for better street manners and better low to mid range power transition.

ok well i talked to gunnar from patriot performance and they said that i could get lower compression pistons and could get 8.5:1 or 9.0:1 compression but would lost around 50-60hp so i would have around 400hp..do you think i should get the lower compression 383 with 400hp and add a 150hp nos shot or save 3000 for a supercharger or just stick with the 383 with higher compression and 460hp?

400 HP is a lot of power for a street ride. Yes, 460 is even more, but unless you've got deep pockets, you'll find yourself driving the car less with the lower gas mileage of either version over the engine you've got now.
I'd go with the 400 hp and lower compression with the crap gas we've got today.

yeah 400HP is good but i liked the idea of running 460hp

im planning on waiting until i get another car to do the engine swap so i wouldn't have to drive this as my daily driver and i want to drag race it on the weekends sometimes too
