Your 1981 camaro original came with a fuel pump that required a return line. So you had 2 lines to the fuel pump and one line to the evap system, AKA charcoal canister.

I am not sure we are on the same page, 2 lines to the fuel pump 1 line to the evap system also know as the Charcoal canister? The one line is a vent for the tank the two lines are for the fuel delivery/return system.

there should be a 3/8 main fuel line and 5/16 return line coming out of the fuel gauge sender with the fuel lines running from the fuel pump along the passenger side. Then there is another metal line coming out of the fuel tank going to the charcoal canister along the drivers side,

Kinked pre-bent line
I purchased a replacement fuel line kit with sending unit for my 1980 Berlinetta. The lines arrived and were 2 pieces but underneath I can see 3 lines 2 on passenger side and one on drivers side of fuel tank. Is there another line or is it called something different as all are in bad shape.
Also, of the 2 lines that arrived, one has a kink and is nearly flat. I messaged, after hours, that I need them to send a replacement. However, when I look at the different companies selling these kits, I see some that seem to have that tight bend, resulting in a kink on mine, but I can’t zoom in close enough to see if it supposed to be that way.

Kinks in lines ae never right. I do not know why you would have 4 lines. Are you sure its a fuel line? Or does it just go under the fuel tank?
