the last time i got gas the fuel gauge was pinned past F. After jacking up the car and pushing on the fuel tank the gauge went back to a normal level area. So while under the car i noticed that all the lines, the tank, and the units that go into the tank are in really bad shape. 30 years did a number under this car. so i have been doing a little searching and i saw a list of items on jcwhitney of parts. could anyone be of some great help of what i should get? a new sending unit? a lock ring? a float? straps? also while on the topic there is a line that goes to the front of my 84, i think its like a carbon canister? do i need to keep that? or can i delete that line? thanks all... you guys are real helpful here. thanks
