Default Fuel psi guage

i was told that you cant have a psi gauge that has fuel running to it inside the cab of the car if you want to run at the track. is this true? it sounds legit to me. Also what do you think of the dash i made.IMG_0839.jpg

I understand why they wouldn't want you to do that. There is always an electronic pressure gauge.

Yes, that's correct, and a very good idea too! You have the option of electronic, or mounting it in a weatherproof pod outside if you really want to watch it. I've always mounted mine to my fuel pressure regulator in the engine bay so I could see it as I set the pressure. Never felt I needed to watch it constantly while racing or driving.
I like custom gauge panels, but I'd prefer a smooth aluminum myself. It looks a little "industrial" in diamond plate.

The only reason i would like to see it while im racing is because i am running nitrous and would like to make sure the fuel pressure for the nitrous solenoid doesn't drop. its a shame that the electric auto meter ones are like 200 buck.

Like I said, just get a pod to put the gauge in, and mount it outside where you can see it. Way cheaper, and easy to mount. You can make a bracket that mounts under the hood on the cowl, but extends out beyond the hood to mount the pod on.
