Having some issues on the engine swap. Anybody have an exact part number I will need for a sbc? Will probably just buy new frame mounts and new engine mounts and be done with it. Just want to make sure I get the correct ones. Also the small block is against the firewall and the trans stud that goes into the crossmember is about 3" forward so I will either need a new trans bracket or trans cross member

According to this, I have the "high performance 69" engine mounts. They have the rivets and look like those. Will those work on the small block? Then maybe I just have to swap frame mounts, or?

383 would be a screamer for the same money it would cost just to put a good set of heads on the 454.

I have a factory BB 68 that now sports a 383. I didn't change a thing. I even have the big distributor cap and a 7 quart oil pan
I used hooker super comps and had ding one tube for the idler arm and one tube for the pitman arm

Money. The 383 is sitting in may garage.

Getting a rebuild done right seems like the more expensive option as opposed to putting the stroker in there until I can put the cash together.
