Default Headlight upgrade problems

So I changed my incandescent headlights for halogen and now the Hideaway doors won't close. I'm thinking maybe they're drawing too much power? (It could simply be a coincidence but I noticed my wipers move slower and my brake lights are not working) I wonder if anyone has any recommendations? I thought I saw some sort of wiring harness that would take the power directly from the battery somehow using the dimmer switch? Just wanted brighter headlights & wanted to go the most affordable way trying to look more stock/original. 1967 RS convertible

thank you I will check and clean all the grounds and make sure I didn't knock any wires off in the process also. I just thought it had to be something more than that since the lights were still working?
I thought I might try this: https://www.rickscamaros.com/catalog/product/view/id/21251/#
but I wasn't sure how that might affect the headlight doors if they work independently or not?

Two of the three door relay coils get a ground through the head light bulb element. It is possible when you changed to Halogen lamps, this has interfered with this ground path. I would suggest reinstalling one of the incandescent lamps and see if the doors work.
