I want to upgrade the headlights on my '67 Rally Sport to halogen lights. I got the relays installed and the lights hooked up, but the halogen lenses I have are convex and protrude too far to let the headlight doors close. Can anybody recommend a halogen headlight that will fit and allow the doors to close?

 

I used these from octane lighting.
I don't have headlight doors, but I still had to cut the headlight bucket for them to fit

 

Thanks for your reply. I'll take a look at those headlights. I have already enlarged the hole in the buckets to accommodate the halogen lights I tried to install, but the problem is that the lenses were too thick from where the light mounts on the bucket to the center of the convex lens. I'm probably going to need some that are flat rather than convex or have a thinner profile.

 

I used led headlights and it was tight but they fit and work great. If you want to know brand let me know and I will look

 

Thanks for replying, but I found some Delta H4 Xenon lights that have a flat rather than convex profile and they work okay.
