Default 67 RS/SS Wiring Issue ?

My running lights won't come on. If I pull the headlight switch halfway, the headlights come on real dim behind the RS headlight doors. If I pull the headlight switch all the way out, the headlight doors open, and the headlights are nice and bright. Why are the running lights located under the bumper not coming on ? Any Help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Have you checked the plug connections at the light fixture harness for corrosion, any corroded ground connections, burned out bulbs, or corrosion inside the sockets? A test meter or light would help to diagnose what is or isn't getting power.

Check your grounds. The dim light coming on when it isn't supposed to usually indicates a bad or loose ground somewhere. That doesn't mean it is the only problem, but it probably is one of them.

I checked the sockets. Both sides had pinched ground wires. Problem solved. Thanks
