Help, wiring harness issue

Default Help, wiring harness issue

I have a 97 camaro v6 with 23000 miles. A rodent chewed up the engine wiring harness. The dealership said I need a new harness and they can't find one. They can repair it but I will get raped. Help me find a complete engine wiring harness.

If you can't find a harness, are you capable of splicing wires together yourself? You can use either crimp connectors, or solder them, and seal each wire up with shrink tubing.
With such low miles, I presume the car sits more than it drives? Keeping mouse traps set could do wonders for saving your car.
