Yea, I realize the Stripe is suppose to go all the way up! Not sure why the resto shop did not do it, So I will have to order the stripe kit just for the spoiler... Seems there is no real solid answer why some have it and some don't, Seems to be comon issue with Yenkos, seems they were all a little different and with no real uniform structure.

I think I will paint it black cause I like the look better. Thanks for all the replys.

You might find the answer here!
https://camaroforums.com/forum/93-02-general-41/why-do-people-change-there-rear-camaro-bumper-55210/

We were discussing this and Massey said it was for race purposes on the track to make the tail lights stand out. Massey's reply is the 13th reply to that thread

Alright so I have the Spoiler Stripe completed and decided to Paint the back panel Flat Black since I found out the car is a True SS BB Car.

So What do you think ?

Looks pretty good. So is that why you wanted to know about it's SS-ness, whether it should be wearing a black mask or not? Oh wait it's on the back side, I guess that makes it a black diaper!

Yea, that was one of the reasons, Plus I thought Black just looks cooler!

So did you like the ride along videos? I got to tell you I have always loved the 69 Camaro! It's what I came home from the Hospital in, and My Old Man had it until I was 8 and it left a huge impression on me! But I have just finally got this car where I can drive it and enjoy it and and it's a good feeling and a hell of a lot of fun!

I bought a new 2010 SS/RS LS3 6-Speed last year and it feels like a moped after driving in the Yenko... It would still beat it unless I Put slicks on it just cause traction... but as far as Raw Power... no comparison. 69 wins hands down...

Yeah nice videos. The competition inspired me to want to go out and do a cockpit video of mine. Been busy at work, so I hope I still have time (and a nice day) to do it soon.
